European Union-Turkey High Political Dialogue

The EU-Turkey High Political Dialogue was established with the aims of discussing several significant agendas that might reform Turkish politics which is well-known with critics upon the EU initiatives especially on refugee crisis. The High Political Dialogue also demands to establish common policy with the Turkish government on the issues of Turkey’s EU accession negotiations, visa liberalization dialogue and cooperation in the areas of economy, energy and trade with its relevant agencies including but not limited to the Joint Consultative Committee. This committee will be honored by important officials from both sides; as in 2017, the conflicts are getting exacerbated day by day. Therefore, this committee should focus upon would-be collaboration between two entities as well as discussing upon possible membership of Turkey to the EU where the dialogue was decided to proceed as the veto appeared during the voting on closure of such initiatives and suspending the Dialogue with Turkish Republic.
